What an amazing story. I am at a loss. I did not see that coming! Wow…so as not to give away any info let me say that this book is a surprise. At the beginning I wasn’t sure what I was going to feel or where the story was going but I had to find out.
As we begin to learn Erin’s story and the road she must go down I was captivated by the story and the detail of the events. I was in no way prepared for the most amazing ending. As I finished the story with tears running down my cheeks I am amazed that I didn’t realize what was happening.
Very well written, an extremely easy read. My emotions ran wild as I was trying to figure out the story behind the story but love the way it all comes together. Look forward to more from this author!
My Goodreads friend Susan was reading this book, so I had to pick it up. Note to Susan, I'm going to kill you! Just kidding.
How can you not feel for the female lead, Erin? She loses her bestfriend, is raped by a boy she trusted and is in a world she can't seem to sink her feet in and then to make it worst, while swimming in the ocean, she finds a dead girl. Christ this poor girl can't get a break, that is until she meets Ben and finds he is everything she wants and more, but who is Ben? And where did he come from? Was it just her luck that she ran into him at the coffee shop? Or is there something deeper in the real truth.
This story will grip your emotions, suffocate you at times, but in the end you will be begging for more.

Erin what a crazy whirlwind life that girls has had .
She lost her best friend who died , her so call love of her life betrayed vital trust that's left her scared and scarred .
This girl goes off to LA not knowing what to expect apart from wanting to relive what her and star had done .( the bestie)
Living in a crappy hotel room day by day and drinking coffee in a local coffee shop , then Ben appears .....
Ben who , what where and why all this will come into a very clear picture .
This book had me emotional and I found myself crying at times
This book is a life journey that will leave you a emotional wreck but what a read .
I always say good things happen to good people and there is karma in this world this book provides proof

Oh my gosh! When I finished reading LOST IN LOS ANGELES I realized I was crying and holding my breath! I don't mean just crying, I was sobbing! Erin has just lost her best friend, Star, tragically. A few weeks later, while at the prom, she is violated by her high school crush! Looking to escape and get away from her life she takes a trip to Los Angeles. While she is having coffee one morning, she meets the mysterious and gorgeous Ben. Erin has been one hot mess due to all that has happened to her but for some reason, Ben makes her want to try harder and be better. I'm not going to say anything else, as I'm afraid I will give too much away. All I'm going to say is you have to read this book! Trust me, read it!!
I have to say, my emotions were all over the place reading LOST IN LOS ANGELES. I had tears, I was angry, I was happy and snorting out loud. Jenny Lynne made me feel like I was right there with Erin, feeling everything She was. Her pain was so real and it broke my heart. LOST IN LOS ANGELES is only 192 pages, but what a wild ride it is. Oh and all I'm going to say is the ending will blow you away. What an awesome twist! Well done Jenny Lynne. I can not wait to read more by this mind blowing author.

Even though this book is fiction the author's use of the characters could be based on real people's lives. The same goes for the location of the story Los Angeles is a real place after all. You really can get lost in Los Angeles... it's a big city!

We meet Erin... she lives in New York. She travels to Los Angeles to see if life is worth living. You might ask why she does this? Here are some clues.
Erin was seeing a guy named Barry and they were at his place. He wanted to try and sleep with her. Erin wouldn't let him. Barry got mad. Ever since then Erin has a hard time trusting people or letting people into her life.
There is something wrong with Erin. She has anxiety issues because when she goes and visits places she sees and hears strange things . When it is night time she see eyes of monsters looking at her and she screams "Get Away From Me" really loud. She also cries a lot. She is having a hard time coping with the death of her friend.
When Erin goes into this coffee shop she sees a guy sitting at a table typing on his laptop. He offers her to sit at his table because the coffee shop is crowed, she gladly accepts. The guy's name is Ben.
It is so sweet that Ben wants to help Erin. She has been through a lot. It is nice to know that she feels safe with Ben...but she doesn't trust him yet. How can you feel safe with someone if you don't trust them?
Ben has been through a lot too. He was abused by his father when he was a kid. Ben was in the hospital because he stabs himself with a sword over and over again he found in his dad's office. When the doctors operate on him they find out he has cancer. Some how the cancer went away later on in his life.
I found this book to be well written. I am glad that Erin has found hope in Ben. The problems Erin face can happen in other people's lives. The book covers the Issue of anxiety very well.
This was an interesting story, well-written and very enjoyable.
